Meet Your Instructor Kelli Talley

Kelli Talley is an ACA Level 4 Swiftwater Rescue Instructor and ACA Level 4 Whitewater Kayak Instructor. She has been teaching Swiftwater Rescue since 2018 and is passionate about a human-first approach to instruction. Kelli loves empowering women to take confidence and ownership of their safety, as well as supporting their friends in practical, common scenarios.

With 15 years of kayaking experience and a decade of teaching, her favorite river is the North Fork of the French Broad, but she calls the Chattooga home most weekends this summer. Through her newest and greatest adventure—motherhood—she has found joy in the simple pleasures of water: cool rocks, critters, and floating on calm waters.
